I like Johnson as a spark off the bench, too. We had that woth Shannon couple years back and, well, it worked pretty good.

Yeah I'm assuming he'll still be out for the year. Would take a long time to get in game shape, even if he was able to start practicing today.

Absolutely. Not sure what was better--seeing us beat Duke or seeing Bain's family receive a blessing because of it. Great story, and yes, great publicity for our program!
When looking at the schedule to plan out which games to attend, I tend to stop every time and gaze fondly at the BIG W by the Duke score! Is that just me or does anyone else do that?

The Lumberjack network is making waves this year.
I watched the game and was impressed with the big men for Illinois. I wasn't around Nacogdoches when Underwood was here. Who was responsible for recruiting while he was the Lumberjacks Head Coach. Did he recruit Kevon or was he a result of Keller's recruiting team?
I wish we had a 6'10" player to help against teams with a big inside presence. Maybe the local kid will grow a couple of inches during his senior year at NHS.

Almost all of Brad's recruited guys are gone at this point. Brad's style is different from Keller's, and some of them transferred out because it was too different. They're both great coaches, but they were gonna bring in different kinds of players.

Nicholls a respectable 114. Lamar 188, the only other team below 200. Take out SFA and Nicholls, the average of the other 11 teams is 295. Not good. Take out Lamar, and it's 307.
And yet, now we must play 20 conference games limiting chances to improve any ratings numbers.

Money can't buy the publicity we've gotten from that one magical night in Durham.
Remember a couple of seasons ago when we were actually worried about HBU being a dark horse in the SLC?
