The silence is deafening.
I'm thinking they about to announce a 5 Star recruit along with the schedule that has some big home games.beaubrad46 said:

Kids are supposed to be getting in for summer soon, so I bet we might have some basketball camp photos soon.
OH THE HORROR!beaubrad46 said:
Don't scream at me but could we possibly be considering signing Sam Houston transfer point guard John Dewey III. He averaged ten points and four assists last year. tell me that I'm not crazy. Allante Holston a 6'7" junior transfer from UNT, who would be eligible immediately is also another interesting possibility. He averaged 18 minutes and 6.7 points a game.
I'm screaming at you! Anyone (well almost) from anywhere other than Prison Tech. Have I ever mentioned that I HATE Prison Tech?!?!beaubrad46 said:

I'm ashamed to admit that my better half graduated from there, too. BOTPW has not been a happy time for me. I'm normally forced to sit amongst a few thousand putrid-orange-clad loud mouths berating our great university. (But I get more than even in hoops season.)beaubrad46 said:
Dewey left because he didn't like it also. We all hate them. Although my daughter graduated from there after putting most of her hours in at SFA. She still pulls for SFA though.

Aaron and John gonna shine this year!!!PurpleOut said:
Nah on Dewey. He's decent, but I didn't find him that great. Wouldn't take him over Aaron or John.
Eh, maybe. I've heard different things on why he's leaving, having a random player regardless of how good he is isn't always the best situation if he's not a team player. That's exactly what we don't need.beaubrad46 said:
It would be better to sign him than to not have thirteen scholarship players.

You are forgetting Devante Fitzgerald and Seraille. If you are going to be short on a position don't let it be guard. Some of the better lineups are four guard lineups. Guards can do more than big men can. GIve me guards but I think that Dewy maybe a graduate transfer. I don't care if it's him or not but I want a guard. Big men are often project players. We'll see.
That is where I am. Fitzgerald had a really good freshman year at A&M until his first knee injury. Not much since then other than in spots. Seraille is a true freshman. Good potential, but a true freshman. Bain has battled injury. Nieminen has had his moments, but not enough yet. Gru is Gru. Great team member by all accounts with very limited on-court contribution.BigJack85 said:beaubrad46 said:

Not forgetting just skeptical that they will have impact until late in the season. Transferring in and all.
