They had five transfer out after last season too. UIW led the SLC a year ago with six transfers.
This year hurts more with the extended dead period and inability to have kids on campus. Recruiting is much tougher this year. Not sure how they plan on approaching it this year.

It just seems like a lot for a team that is moving to another conference, had player of the year & freshmen of the year, and had a chance to win it all ( I know Hooten chokes at the tournament ). Maybe I'm reading too much into it, plus it's that extra eligibility year!
Doesn't surprise me that Cam is leaving but Charlie leaving does ...well, now we know we are looking for at least 2 players. Silver lining!

Seniors don't count towards schollies this year so I believe we should have 4 slots. It would be 5 but I think this is the year we lose 1 for the APR score crap.

As far as I understand we took our scholarship penalty, and we should be good to go this year. Tezeno will get one spot, but haven't heard of any other commits yet. Plenty of spots to fill.
Neither of these are a surprise. Not sure what each is looking for, but doubtful that either one ends up in a better basketball situation. I guess that Daniels is looking for more PT, and Cam wants to be back home.cboothe09 said:

You have McDaniel on your list. Did he enter the portal and I missed it? I never expected his return, but I probably missed the news.
I'm kind of thinking the coaching staff explained to each of the seniors what their "anticipated" role would be next year. Then, they made their choices. At least that's my optimistic thought. Meaning the communications to David Gavin and Roti was positive.
