In football, last week Alabama paid New Mexico State $1.9 million to get absolutely destroyed by the Tide. This week Kentucky will be paying New Mexico State $1.2 million to beat up on the poor Aggies.

The NMSU AD who inked those contracts should be a shoe-in for the WAC AD of The Year!

(Side note: That shows one advantage of NMSU being an FBS team rather than an FCS team. Most likely, they would not have gotten those hefty payments if they were FCS.)

Adam is a good coach and good person. I've had the opportunity to speak with him and have family close to the school and program. I think he's just had a lot of bad luck with ACU and might need to work on his recruiting strategies(he was great at recruiting skill position players, the trenches was where he struggled).

He's gonna rebound and do well somewhere else.

They had the facilities and everything to easily make that jump. It made sense. For us and Sam, I feel like the cost to renovate Homer Bryce and Bowers will basically be the cost of a new stadium.

Per Matt Brown's Extra Points, lots of leagues are clamoring after UT Arlington, who is being kicked out of the Sunbelt next season, along with UALR.

It's said that WAC, MVC, & SLC have reached out, but MVC is the favorite.

Tell yall what, I wouldn't mind playing games in Dallas a few times a year.

They aren't in the remodeled facility yet...sometime after Jan/end of Jan. They really wanted it for when we play them in Abilene but have been told it won't be ready by then.
