- 1925-31 - Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association
- 1931-84 - Lone Star Conference (LSC went D2 in 1982. Combination of NCAA and NAIA prior to that)
- 1984-87 - Gulf South Conference
- 1987 - 2021 - Southland Conference
- 2021 - ? - WAC

ACU has the new logo on their football field.
Football has the new logo. But there’s nowhere to put one at the moment for hoops. Moody is in the midst of a massive renovation. Which is why they played at the Teague Center (no relation to Brad). I read the article. Mostly covered pros and cons of ESPN+ Other related online platforms. I didn't see anything regarding actual revenue targets. Matt Brown writes some pretty good stuff. Thought he had more to hit in this topic.

One big takeaway is that they're one of the only FCS level conference with guaranteed broadcast games. I think it's two for football and one for basketball. Missouri Valley Football doesn't even have that for football.
Also notable, ESPN wasn't highest bid. My guess is FloSports.

I think the move here for the WAC is to ask every broadcast sports streaming platform to bid.
Fox Sports, ESPN, Peacock, etc.
Sure, they may not all have the eyeballs and ubiquity of ESPN+, but you might get a team more willing to promote your product.
I forget which one, think it's peacock, who has national lacrosse league front and center right now.

There is a decent amount of sports with Peacock TV, especially your traditional NBC focused broadcasts. They just finally agreed to a deal with Amazon for those devices...which was a killer for me this past year for soccer. But will be great for next year. It's unfortunately just another app to have to pay for, but at least I can turn it on and off.

I always pay to watch the Tour, which was up to like 80 bucks last year.
Just got peacock for 5 a month, so I'll come out ahead either way.
