His decision comes six days after the "Texas Four" officially joined the WAC, and in the midst of other potential membership changes as the league brings back football.

We sure do, especially since there has been little to no leadership in the old conference.TallTexan said:SFA Jack Fanatic said:What makes this such Huuuuuggeeeee News, Texan? Did you just land that job? Did the current commissioner owe you money for gambling debts?TallTexan said:

I just really liked the guy. Seemed to be a bit more strategic than most.
And we all know how important top notch conference leadership is.
And another solid pickup for my preseason favorite to win the WAC. https://t.co/hWC6juLi0n

averaged 3.3 points and 2.8 rebounds last year. Nothing to get unnerved about. A good pick up never the less.sfa17 said:And another solid pickup for my preseason favorite to win the WAC. https://t.co/hWC6juLi0n

Carthel calling his wife the luckiest woman in the world (in reference to his shirtless celebration) was the highlight for me.
If it's not yet, it at some point should be available on the WAC Digital Network On-Demand section.

Here's everything I'm hearing about how conference realignment may impact the non-P5 leagues, from the AAC to the Southland and a whole bunch in between:https://t.co/2hyYJV5cTg
I'll give a short synopsis of things in there that could affect us in the long run.TallTexan said:

Northern Colorado makes the most sense to me.SFA_03 said:
The ASUN is much more likely to get McNeese than the WAC. Just geographically it makes sense.
I think Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, or maybe West Texas A&M is most likely.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought deep E. Texas was that heavy LSU. There are a lot of aggies in Angelina County, but no way they should outnumber SFA. There are a lot of alums, just not enough engaged.TallTexan said:

Admittedly, I believe this is twitter data, so it probably skews younger and a little more inaccurate than perhaps polling the county as a whole.SFAJack_76 said:Interesting.
