Anyone can file a FOIA aswell someone here should request it. It should all be public in emails.

Sent an Email to UT school system about a master plan. Since it would be nice to see one in the end. Got this email back from Korbin Pate.

Looks like we will be getting a Campus Master Plan posted soon. Should clear the air. Doesn't seem like Hall 20 is going to be torn down just yet but use as a swing space if needed. But they do want to build a new dorm eventually.

A dedicated webpage for the Master Plan, including timeline, will be posted soon. And, ultimately, the final plan. There are no definitive current plans for Dorm 20, or that space, because there is no current Master Plan.

The work on the Master Plan has just started. I have heard six months to a year to complete the plan.

I had a good conversation with Korbin at Alumni Corner before the last football game.

I more wanted a vision. My graduate school had a campus master plan all worked out. I feel like we are in the dark here as students, alumni and prospect students. Hopeful the plan is posted soon.

Kind of gives a timeline for all the events. Bit annoyed we won't have an offical master plan document I guess until 10/1/2025. Espically for like the forestry building being torn down next year. I need some visions or plans. I hope for the best..

Whoa! If I could have transferred into my alma mater with 90 instead of the 50 I was allowed, I would have saved one year and a lot of dough.

Good stuff.

I recently read that SFA has requested funding ($6 million) for an engineering technology program (specializations in Power Generation and Manufacturing). These two specializations, would be a nice addition to our mechanical & electrical engineering degree programs. Real positive.
