Would be nice to have a coach at this point but has to be the right person.
. Was thinking that. But a head coaching job would be a sought after thing more than an assistant? Money difference?TallTexan said:No-look said:

Our right person has been sitting next to Kellogg for years but at this point we're probably at risk of losing him to the transfer portal to WVU too.

Ugh, this portal. Jackson State is now Colorado, SFA is now WVU with more to come. I can't blame the kids or coaches. Commitment has been redefined from a program to a coach. Zya confirmed as much in her WVU message.. With that being said, I have decided not to enter my name into the fan transfer portal and will remain a Ladyjack fan forever, per my original commitment. WVU is almost heaven only because the piney woods are heaven. How ya like that one!

SFA athletic director Ryan Ivey is holding interviews this week for the SFA women's basketball head coaching position. Associate head coach Leonard Bishop should be at the top of the list. But, with the facilities SFA has and the sustained success, this is a highly-coveted job so there should be plenty of candidates. The Jacks, per sources, are hoping to have a decision made by early next week.

Jordan and Zya were going to WVU regardless of who the SFA head coach was going to be.Ljacks&Longnecks said:
Someone should alert the candidates to bring lots of reinforcements with them.....the cupboard is just about bare.
The Bishop continuity plan is a bust now.....but his knowledge of the system and I would guess of our recruits still could be helpful.
