I don't want to be too negative about this hire, but being named the Recruiting Coordinator seems like a heavy load to bear for someone with so little experience. I assume that Bishop and Harrison will be heavily involved in assisting Jordynn while she learns the ropes and develops relationships around the state and country.
What are others' opinions on this?
From what I've seen online, At bigger schools, recruiting coordinator a lot of times means a separate position.
That person, as best I can tell is in charge of scheduling visits, keeping tabs with recruits needs, etc. The legwork.
It is often a fairly recent grad.
If I may make an analogy to business, would you want your CEO handling the scheduling and logistics of clients or the relationship building and strategy parts?
And as a young, recent player she will likely relate well to recruits having just gone through the process a few years ago.
That person, as best I can tell is in charge of scheduling visits, keeping tabs with recruits needs, etc. The legwork.
It is often a fairly recent grad.

Happy for all she did here, but still really disappointed that it's a WAC rival that she went to. On a side note, I saw our new coach out and he was getting lots of encouragement from locals. Hope he gets all the support he needs.

Well, we got one. 6'1" Ituau Tuisaula, sophomore center from Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA. She hails from Soldotna, Alaska.
In March she was named the NWAC North Region MVP. The NWAC is the governing body of two-year colleges in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia. Just based on a quick look at her info on the internet, it appears that she is a good scorer and an excellent rebounder. In high school she threw the shot put and discus, so she has a strong upper body.
In conference play this year she averaged 10.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg., 54.1% from the field, and 59% from the FT line.
