Rice, Washington State, and California all lost today. Not much chance SFA gets in the final rankings, but possible.
We played half (16) matches against teams worse than #160 (essentially bottom half of all teams) in RPI. We did not lose a set to any of them.
The 17 sets lost this year all came to top half teams.

Looks rational based on RPI, W/L record, head to head etc. With only one flaw in our record we should (if logic endures) be about the same seed line as Rice.

Better RPI than the bottom four teams in the rankings: Washington State, Michigan, California, and Illinois. Unfortunately the four other unranked teams who are receiving votes as well as us have higher RPI's than we do. Washington St. has plummeted to #55 in RPI. They got to go.
Corpus and Sam both moved up. 104 and 107 respectively.
This is pretty rude but I'm going to say it. Most of the volleyball coaches must be living under a rock to put Washington State ahead of us in the "Rankings" leaving us hanging at 26. What a bunch of "Blankety Blank Blank". Hopeuflly we win at least one in the tournament and turn some heads...

They finish with #3 Stanford and at #9 Washington. They will lose both. Perhaps get swept. They simply are not playing good now.
A&M has matches left at RPI 41 South Carolina and at RPI 9 Florida.
That's the problem with coaches rankings. How many matches outside of upcoming opponents do you think Debbie watches? Or Keller, or anyone for that matter?BigJack85 said:

Coaches are busy. They re-watch their teams & catch up on film.
