Sounds like they're looking at a larger share of the NCAA payouts to go to the team that earns them.
So, hypothetically, something like the conference gets 100% of game 1, 75% of game two, 50% of game 3+. And the WAC school in the tourney gets the rest.
A conference gets 1 unit per game played. Units are worth 330k-ish, per year, for 6 years, so roughly 2 million per game.
Which is like 150-200k per school in total over the 6 years. Under this scenario, they'd consider giving more benefits to the winner of any games, as this would incentivize winning(and most importantly, maybe let them retain coaches better).

It should be interesting to see which of these ladies take their games to the next level in the year ahead. There's lots of potential here. Meshed with our returnees, there's no reason to believe the Ladyjacks won't continue the streak of 20-win seasons at SFA.
Our returning forwards should be a strength. Tyler, Destini, and Kyla will do their part, and hopefully Avery V. can finally show what she has to offer. The only concern I have is the overall lack of height around the basket. Kurstyn and Zoe will need to remain healthy throughout the season.
