Ladyjacks look lethargic and totally unorganized. It seems to happen to them about every third game. No consistency.

UIW attacks the bucket every time down and SFA just passes the ball away from the bucket eight times before shooting out of control.
When they started making their 3s, that sparked a fire.
And no movement away from the ball. Standing around watching. Zya seems to be the only one with any energy.
I've seen Stephanie pass up several open shots. She's our best shooter. Shoot the dadgum ball, Stephanie!

Agree with Ed on press and Stephanie. Girls also shot poorly besides passing up shots. Disappointing game.
Ladyjacks deserved what they got today. They were outplayed and outcoached by an inferior team. Can't put lipstick on this pig of a game.
Pilot girl and I agree that the girls are trying to get their feet under them with Marissa out.

As was mentioned on the coaches radio show last night, Banfield is healing well. She was cleared yesterday for non contact practice. Return to playing is still TBD.
The breadth of the impact on her being out is more than expected. Others must step up which they did not do at UIW. We simply could not hit wide open shots. And, free throw shooting from a normally very good free throw shooter.

Wow. Couldn't be better news. I don't think she's the glue to this team but the rotations have struggled without her. We need the full unit to win Katy.
Most of us are thinking about how the new practice facility will impact the men's program. I believe the new facility will help fuel growth in our men's program for years to come.
Just as important, I think it will really help the women's program get over the top. We've fiddled around the past 10-15 years with a women's program that has performed below the standard set in the 70's, 80's and 90's.
