Game day!!!!
Finally the season starts today!!! Kellogg has done an incredible job with our women's team these last few years. One thing remains: a NCAA berth. Today that campaign begins against the Golden Hurricanes of Tulsa.
I was at the game last year when the Ladyjacks beat Tulsa by 40 in one of the most embarrassing dismantlings I have ever witnessed. I expect Tulsa to come out swinging, but the better team from the south is going to come out on top.

As if we didn't know already, Visscher is an absolute beast. Right now she's two rebounds away from her first double-double. She's currently leading the team in points, assists, rebounds, and steals.

Listening to the 107.7 broadcast....sure like what I'm hearing for the most part. Looks like we may have some live freshman plus Visscher and the other returning Ladies. Going to be a fun season with this crew.

Perfect from the stripe all night until the last minute and miss 3-4 to seal the game. Now a one possession game.

1-0. That fourth really shook up what was a great first game. The sad part was that the starters were in for most of that time. Oh well. Banfield hit 3-6 free throws in the final 40 seconds. It was just enough.

Wow. That was not what you would call finishing. Watched it on the horrible low-res Hurricane streaming TV. Wonderful 3 quarters, but almost blowing a 21-point lead, and lucky 3-6 at the FT is a 50% average that could still put it away - you could feel Kellog steaming.

100% agree. Once you've missed a couple and the game is on the line, it takes some moxy and character to forget the miss and step up and hit what is needed to get the W. Love that she wasn't phased and had the confidence to fire them up to the rim strong.Pilotgirl said:

i think I remember 76 saying that Mitchell was injured at Meet the Lumberjacks and would miss a couple of weeks. Harvey was the surprise to me.SFA Jack Fanatic said:
