2023: Appeared in all 12 games for the Gamecocks, starting the first five at wide receiver … hauled in 11 catches for 126 yards and a touchdown … caught his touchdown reception against ETSU, a 23-yard strike from Zion Webb …had two catches for 28 yards at Sam Houston, including a leaping grab on the game-tying drive at the end of the fourth quarter.
2022: Started all 11 games in his first season with the Red and White making an immediate impact in Rich Rodriguez's debut offense…he led the Gamecock receiving corps in receptions, yards and touchdowns with 28 catches for 433 yards and three scores…his longest catch of the year came early in the season-opener against SFA on Aug. 27 with a 73-yard catch-and-run to set JSU up for a score just before halftime…he finished the day with a career-high 99 yards receiving…his first Gamecock touchdown came a week later on a 31-yard strike from Zion Webb for the first score of the game against Davidson on Sept. 3…his second TD reception came on a 70-yard score at Nicholls on Sept. 24…he followed that up with an acrobatic 11-yard touchdown catch in overtime to beat Kennesaw State on Oct. 1 in a play that ranked No. 3 on SportsCenter's Top 10 that night…he was 1-for-1 passing on the year with a five yard touchdown toss to Zion Webb at Austin Peay on Oct. 29 to claim a staggering 472.0 passer efficiency…with seven punt returns for 56 yards, his 496 all purpose yards were fifth-most among the Gamecocks.
PRIOR TO JAX STATE: Spent the 2018-2021 seasons at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas…missed the 2018 and 2019 seasons due to injury and served on the Red Raiders scout team in 2020…made his collegiate debut in 2021 for the Red Raiders, seeing action as a reserve wideout.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Burnet High School in Burnet, Texas...considered one of the fastest receivers in the state of Texas...recorded 942 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns through the air as a junior in 2016...exploded onto the prep scene with 451 receiving yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore in 2015...collected first team All-District honors as a junior...three-star prospect according to Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports...ranked as the No. 180 player in the state of Texas and the No. 27 wide receiver by 247Sports...chose Texas tech over offers from several schools that included Illinois, Iowa State, Nevada, New Mexico, Southern Miss and TCU…also drew interest from Boise State, Florida, Oklahoma State, SMU and Utah...also had scholarship offers from three Ivy League schools in Cornell, Columbia and Dartmouth.
