No doubt. But just the fact we had a new QB transfer from a Big 12 school means he was expecting to compete for a starting job. I expected there to be some kind of competition for the job with Saxton in the mix.
But Trae has all the tools to become a top FCS QB before he graduates. He just has to put them all together.

Is Pace playing? That #8 in the practice pics doesn't look like him unless he changed his number again.

Yep.. If he sticks with us then it will be a huge huge get... If he goes somewhere else to play then they are getting a hell of a player. We are gonna be fine no matter what happens.. I am just truly happy to see him not declare for the NFL draft and come give himself another year.. I would rather see him in Orange and White than declaring for the draft this year.. The previous staff did him no favors with the NFL scouts I can promise you that..

So the season ticket renewals are up on the site - tix gone up to $150 per seat. Includes 6 games, one of which is the NRG game against SHSU - so, no longer an option - I guess that's their way of assuring more income instead of individual tix for the game, personally, not happy about being charged for an away game that is very difficult for us to make, but that's just me. - If I'm reading the renewal section right, so 5 home games. No non-conference at home.
And another almost impossible for us out of towners to make Thursday night NSU game.

Carthel said the NW State game was gonna be on a Saturday at the end of last season.

We need to put some pressure on the league if that is happening again.

Yep, clearly recall reading a tweet from Carthel that next year the game would be on a Saturday at Homer Bryce.
Guessing this is something the conference is pushing for some unknown reason since it was not earning the SLC any TV contracts. It needs to be changed.
If it is a conference edict the only way to change it would be public pressure....that said I don't see any chance of a public uprising coming from the SLC fanbase.

Sexton is still at SFA working on a degree in Wildlife Management. He was not on scholarship. SFA was where he wanted to be for the education.

Also liked the fact his grandma lives in San Augustine I believe...

With as much land his family owns a wildlife management degree would be a perfect fit..
