Thanks. BTW, I'm wondering what Keller sees in this Willis fellow. Didn't see much court time and averaged only 6 ppg at NJIT, which isn't exactly a national MBB powerhouse. Can he shoot the three, perhaps?

EDIT: Nope. Just saw that he hit only 25% from three.

EDIT: Nope. Just saw that he hit only 25% from three.

Our last NJIT guy was averaging 3.4 ppg and now averages 12 for us, so I'm expecting Diego to go for 22-23 a night.

I like it. Diamond in the rough pick. Tall guard, college and national team experience.

I'll have to watch some film but I like the pickup right now. I don't have a reason to doubt the coaching staff of finding talent, that's for sure.

Ok some additional thoughts. He doesn't have a bad looking shot, even if he pushes the ball a bit more than normal.

Maybe Jasick was familiar with him bc Jacksonville State and NJIT were in the same conference for a few years.

Passing reminds me a bit of David's, seeing open guys that might be a tough pass for most guards and trying to get them the ball.

And a good idea to remember that this is a relatively late addition and our transfer guards tend to take the biggest jump after their 1st year in the system.

Don't go to your bookie with that 22-23 expectation, Texan.

And, yeah. My guess is that he's a good distributor of the ball. Again, my guess..... And if he's good enough to make the Mexican National Team, then there must be something there that multiple coaches like.
