Yes. The Mohegan Sun is where we'll play St. Bonaventure and Rhode Island. I assume our visit there is part of the bubble. A very nice resort. I was there not long after it opened a long while ago. It's a huge place. Has three casinos, a huge hotel, a 10,000 seat arena, and over 40 restaurants.
It'll be a place and at a time where the Jacks can really get noticed by the national press if we play well against the Bonnies and Rams.

Texas Tech has scheduled Sam Houston, ACU, Corpus (in Frisco) and UIW.
A Tech/SFA game in Frisco would have been amazing.

Scheduling could be worse, we could be playing the same team 6 times.
The Ivy League has cancelled 2020-21 winter sports. No basketball. Men or women.

Doubt that it will stop there. Numbers are soaring and Thanksgiving and Christmas are looming...airlines have added more flights for Thanksgiving timeframe....it all points to a large increase in Covid from now til January even February.

UNI, Northwestern, Loyola Chicago are the latest to drop out of their MTE's this afternoon.
Also heard that Southeastern Louisiana has paused their workouts because of COVID and isn't supposed to practice until next week.

I don't think I've seen this mentioned here yet... The entire Big Dance is to be held in one city. Indy is being considered as the site.
Just wondering... Why not have it at Disney, like the NBA did? They obviously have the facilites and capabilities.

Jock Hughes just knocked down a 3 for PVAMU against Little Rock on ESPN+. Cam Mack should be playing as well.

Yeah he wasn't listed in the box score. He's still listed on the roster.

Didn't see him on the bench. Injured or ....
Saw him on the bench in his warm ups. Never touched the floor.
Wasn't entirely excited about Jocks performance. One of his buckets was a garbage time three. Didn't look great on defense and committed a bad foul late that really hurt PV...Still, the promise is there. Wish we could have held on to him but it wasn't meant to be...

A couple of observations:
1) #1 Gonzaga is the real deal. Led #6 Kansas all the way today and looked great doing it. Won 102-90.
2) Underwood's #8 Illini has been a scoring machine in their first two games, although they've played a couple of Little Sisters of the Poor teams. 122-60 over North Carolina A&T. 97-38 over Chicago State. They face Baylor and Duke in the next couple of weeks (virus permitting), so that will tell us if it's just a mirage.
3) San Francisco beat Towson 79-68 today. That's two teams that we definitely would have beaten in CT.

Gonzaga had two players test positive after last night's game. The two players will isolate and quarantine. Games will continue as scheduled. Gonzaga will play Auburn today...
So now it's teams, staffs, officials, and video crew. At least they get to play the game.
Yet we have pur guys twiddling their thumbs waiting another week to play...

Abilene Christian looking pretty frisky. Real frisky. Austin Peay is solid .... East Tennessee, was supposed to be a contender in the SOCON. Not sure what ACU's ceiling is. Wish we had those games this weekend
