Win win for the coach/school in these. If he doesn't get hired away, he gets a deserve raise. If he does get hired away, school gets a better buyout.

That's an interesting hire, but good for him for getting paid.

His first two stops were ok, but he really built something at Loyola.

Will be interesting to see his and Beard's careers.

Unless more firing/hiring happens .. only remaining top jobs are UNC and Tech. Tech fans look to be pushing for Mark Adams current assistant HC. They are also not a big fan of Golding Bc of his ties with Beard(who now they hate lol)

Until beard's last day tech fans preached the "he loves it here .. his family loves it here" stuff.

The lure of playing very close to home and family is stronger than playing for a winning program for him, apparently. Plus, SFA is doing nothing right now on recruiting, so maybe that's sending a bad message to potential recruits.

Would have loved to have gotten him. I would suspect that SFA is doing more than we realize on recruiting right now. Probably an aggressive seven footer and a star guard or two. Gonna drop any moment. Right?

I'm referring to 2021 recruiting, not 2022 and beyond. I'm just saying what a staffer has told me a couple of times in the last week.

UTEP would be another stepping stone to a P6 job. He would have to rebuilt that program in hopes of getting a P6 job in the future. Or he can possible have one more good season and get a P6 job and build a legacy.

Keller talked about a NCAA championship in is initial press conference .. no way he would leave SFA without a national championship
