Someone over on the Offers thread said that Daniels looked like TJ in a video that was posted there. I tend to disagree. IMO, TJ was more of a "finesse and technique" Forward. Big Country looks like he will be more of a bruiser. He should do well against the undersized teams in the SLC.
And can someone order a Big Head picture of a fiddle, so it can be displayed next season every time that Charlie Daniels rattles the rim on a slam or swats away a shot?

I agree with that Fanatic. Daniels had no three pointers. At a high major TJ will be a 3-4 instead of a 4-5.

I'm pretty pumped that Daniels committed. Out of the remaining offers we have out, Daniels is the player that the roster needed the most in terms of gaps needing to be filled. He plays just like Holyfield did.
If we have one scholarship left I really hope we can pull in that kid from South Plains. if we get him I think the 2019-2020 roster pretty much mirrors the tournament teams from the past. But, I know everyone else wants Solomon which is certainly the more ideal long term play.

BTW, South Plains has FOUR kids on the JUCO Top 100. Two of them have committed to Missouri State and McNeese State. Antonio and Wade have not committed.

Yeah I don't get the TJ comparison. Daniels has good size, but he doesn't have the same athleticism or shooting ability that TJ did. Our pick and pop with TJ was one of our most dangerous plays. Daniels won't provide that.
