This feels right to me also. I don't look forward to Kellogg leaving, but hope he gets a big job someday because that means the team had success. If we had beaten GT, and won one more to get to the sweet sixteen, he would be a hot commodity right now. I don't think he leaves this year.

We don't have to be forever. Takes finding winning coaches & the right coaches, but we can do it or atleast make it much less likely.

And we manage to hold our winning coaches longer than most.

Looks like she's assistant so I'm assuming Len or Grayson is moving to AHC?

Those two definitely deserve it.

I'm speculating that we won't have Kellogg forever, and when he does get that big time promotion, Bishop and Grayson are the two candidates for the job in my mind.

This is an excerpt from an article about Coach Bishop on sfajacks.com:

"During this historic season, the Ladyjacks received two players on the 2021 Southland Conference All-Defensive Team in Aiyana Johnson and Stephanie Visscher, where Johnson led the Southland Conference in blocked shots (53 total, 2.0 per game) and Visscher ranking No. 7 (30 total, 1.1 per game). Visscher tied for No. 19 across NCAA Division I in Total Steals (66) this year.

Bishop's work with the SFA post players in the 2017-18 season flourished by developing a stellar senior campaign of Stevi Parker, who became the program's 32nd 1,000-point scorer and cracked the top ten career rebounds list at SFA on the way to Southland All-Conference First Team honors. In addition, forward Imani Johnson was recognized as the Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year in her first season under Bishop's direction."

Seriously - who writes this stuff? There are so many errors there it's difficult to read. I kept thinking HUH? when reading something that was so poorly constructed it made little sense.

Coach Bishop is literally the nicest person. I'm so proud of him! We have the best coaches....they are great people, role models, and teachers.

I don't know anything about him except that he must be a very talented coach or he wouldn't be at SFA. I do know the coaching staff is excellent, and that includes the men's coaches as well.

In case there is some misunderstanding, my issue is not with the subject matter at all. I just find it hard to get through poorly written stories. I taught English for 25 years, so it could be related to that... LOL
