All 1st team - all conference back court (Bogues, Cajuste, Jossell) + solid wings (Armbrester, Hayman and Staine) + an actual frontcourt (Jalil grows up/Southwick plays the role of banger) = conference title contender.

IMO, the only reason why SFA apparently hasn't offered him is what we've discussed in these forums -- SFA needs a point guard and a big. He's neither of those.

Wheather you hate or love New Mexico State that program has a huge following. Some of the fans are a little rabid but thats what a winning culture can do… last year was a dumpster fire that's gonna smoke up the air for a while. The more I think about Hooten taking over the more I think that it was a good hire. May take a couple years for Hooten to have success but those fans will want it now.

He (Hooten) is a great hire. Sam people don't get it, what they had.
