Ditto. Very little "coach speak." Talks about the good and the not so good. Talks about current state, and two years from now when the freshmen and sophomores are juniors and seniors.

Dickson turned 33 yesterday. I hope Ivey can keep her around for a few years. Some G5 school with more resources and better facilities will be after her.

A sunny, breezy day for the series deciding third game. Wilbur in the circle for the Jacks. McNeese going with Flores, the girl from Lufkin that beat us yesterday. Decent crowd and getting better. They started the game about ten minutes early.

Ladyjacks take the series with a 4-2 win, scoring 3 in the bottom of the sixth. Ladyjacks had four hits. Two bloop singles and two bunt singles, one I would have scored E1. Wilbur with the complete game win.

Did enough to win, but feel like we stole this one.

3-3 on the season.

On to baseball.

Good comments as always from Dickson. Mid week game at College Station in their new $30 million facility. A&M is 16-11 on the year which is below their usual standard.

HBU coming to town this weekend. They are 12-9 on the year, 3-3 in SLC play. 0-2 against NSU in non conference games. No notable wins to date. Only played three games at home. Need to win at least two of three at home.

> The Ladyjacks have been one of the biggest enigmas of the 2019 season, with three top 25 wins but some equally-egregious losses. After losing a pair of games to Southeastern Louisiana to open Southland play last week, the Ladyjacks brought McNeese State to town, needing to right the ship in league play. SFA did just that, taking the series win over the postseason-stalwart Cowgirls and reaching the .500 mark in Southland play. The Ladyjacks shut out McNeese in game one of the series, winning by a score of 7-0.

I like that the Ladyjacks are going toe to toe with A&M, but the important games are Friday and Saturday. Kriesel threw 83 pitches, and Wilbur is up to 93. I know softball is different, but still.

After not scoring with runners on second and third with nobody out in the top of the tenth, that should have been it for Wilbur in my opinion. The prize is the conference championship, not a mid week game, regardless of who it is against.
