In typical SFA fashion we will beat the Ducks and look like the best Mid Major in the country, only for the next game to happen.

I'm still hoping the Jacks can put it together this year. I know we are better than what was shown Saturday. We played better teams a lot closer. Unrealistic expectations fog the mind sometimes ( Cowboys fan syndrome) but we are better than what we saw the last two games. I want coaches and players to be successful. Let's get it together!

Could someone do better than Kyle...probably not but he unfortunately has to deal with the ghost of Underwood past. Anyone else feeling hopeless and feeling about as good as a Prarie View fan?

I think there is plenty of people better than Keller. I hope we do shop around once his contract is up in 2025-2026. I would love to see WTAMU coach here espically with already the connection with the AD.

Soft Press just isn't cutting it. I do agree we aren't using it as strongly as we used to. Soft press just seems to leave the open guy in the end. Ending poorly as always in our favor. Watching some other teams everything seems so fluid while we play so chaotic.

Keller's style relies a lot on pace. Hard to believe that Keon Thompson won't get things moving faster in a couple more games. Hopefully we aren't still feeling our way when we dip back into conference

Oregon will be a major test. I hope we can keep the game fairly close, but I don't see how. I expect our defensive intensity to be at a high level, but lack of offense and multiple turnovers will dwarf our defensive pressure. My heart says 5 point game, but my brain (not the best) says 20-30 point spread.

Sunday could get really ugly.

If we went out and got any other coach for our level, that'd be 150-200k to invest back into athletics from the difference between the average salary and his salary.

The going rate for a quality D1 head coach starts around $400k. And that's the low end.

A quick look at Knight Newhouse shows that we pay ok , but not at the level of say a CUSA or MWC school So, I just don't think we are going to save much money with a new hire.

We aren't paying Keller $400 (unless he wins conference and or makes a trip to the NCAA's) so let's take a reality check. Good coaches aren't generally on the market for $200k + bonuses. Even pulling up a top notch D2 guy is going to cost $300k.

Its time to get Walkup back from Europe and put his ass on the bench to coach this school. He has cred and videos along with stats to prove it. He is the last person who remembers what its like to win. Covid and Keller have killed amy momentum we once had. Duke feels like a lifetime ago.

Texas Wesleyan won't be any sort of "layup" That's a motivated 8-4 NAIA squad that gave UNT a scare. Never led by more than 7-8 points.

Might be one of those games, that could effectively put one of the last "nails in the coffin".

All Im saying is Im just ready for change. We've had Keller since I started at SFA in 2016. Been going through the deep mud with him some Highs and Lows. Im just ready for some kind of change in the end. Keller system hasn't been working out. Im excited to see where to where a new AD could hire and focus on rebuilding the program. Hell even with the WTAMU Connection I would love to see Tom Brown here.

Main thing is I want change either by style of play or just give a full reset.
