Really intrigued to see the first edition of Keller's "return to the Southland". If I understand correctly, it's a 20 game conference schedule and a 10 or so non-conference schedule.

In the past Keller has scheduled 2 NAIA or D2 contests. The MTE sounds like some winnable games. Hopefully we get 1 or 2 P5 games.

Looking towards a solid non con (7-3 or 8-2) then we have a solid return to the SLC season. We've got to get back to 23 or 24 wins (or more) regularly. That will help us get back to 4000/5000 attendance

Other than the 3 team MTE (Youngstown, Monmouth and Presbyterian) do we have any hints about our non conference schedule? With the 20 game SLC schedule, I'm assuming a 10 game non-conference slate.

Keller's going into an important season. He knows that one of the evaluation metrics will be average wins per season. And more importantly, wins in the last 2 - 3 seasons . 19 & 18 wins isn't the target. A schedule custom built for 22 or 23 wins is probably going include a couple of D2 or NAIA contests. All ears.

I don't see Sylla and Nana on the court together, very often. Maybe a particular team will warrant such a matchup, but largely I see Sylla as the "next Nana".
