Odd the school hasn't been making a bigger deal that we're literally kicking off the entire CFB season in the FCS classic. Nationally televised game. Playing in a historic stadium that hosts an FBS bowl game. I would hope we can get a decent presence there for what will essentially be a JSU home game.
It is only January. We still have basketball going on. Bowling has started their season. Track and field, baseball, and softball are about to start. Plus being down people in the department. I'm sure they'll make a big deal out of it the closer it gets.
Spot on. First things first.

Football schedule will be coming out some time after national signing day. When was the last time we saw a football schedule in February? We have five home games, with the first one being September 24.

We are so blessed because we have a staff that is well respected in the coaching world both pro and NCAA levels. So if coach lets this coaching gem out of the hat then other schools will go after him knowing he is changing jobs.. Then they $teal him away.. Just like our 1st OL Coach with the Cards, Coach Kelley with TCU and a couple more.. I can tell you the DT coach has a few current players in the league and is a well spoken young coach coming back home to TX.. DB coach if Carthel gets his first choice will be a huge get for our defensive side of the ball..

If we get who I am thinking we get for DB coach then we are all gunna be super happy.. And I would put our defensive staff against anyones in FCS.. This coach has experience in Frisco that's for sure…

Every day I get more and more excited for the 2022 Lumberjacks. If our offense picks up where they left off and the defense keeps improving, this team will be the most complete team in the FCS.

I hope we promote the hell out of this so we at least get a somewhat respectable turnout. JSU will probably have 75+ percent of the stadium for obvious reasons but I'd like to see some purple presence in there.
