Basically teams 7-10 have five games to play, 5-6 have four games to play, 3-4 three games to play, 1-2 two games to play.
The first place team has gone to the NCAA's every year in the last decade and no lower team than third has won since moving to a neutral site.

If head to head is a tie breaker, as it should be, that helps us with GCU.
Sam and Seattle both lost today. GCU eked out a win in a terrible game against CBU. Our road to top 4 got a little easier.

NMST has the hardest schedule, we have the easiest besides Seattle.

Don't be fooled by Sam's five game win streak. They are definitely better since their coach returned. The win over CBU was a good win, and a big surprise. They beat Dixie State by 2 in OT, and UVU by 3.
We had a horrible game in Huntsville a couple of years ago. Stephanie had one of her worst games at SFA. Zya showed what she was going to be. The rest of the team was flat. I don't see this team doing that.

We've not really been in the hunt for a top two spot, but if ACU could knock of Sam Thursday and GCU could nab New Mexico St. on Saturday, it would actually give us a shot.
I can't find the tiebreakers anywhere, but I hope they are not quite as crazy as the SLC. We have Lamar this weekend, but then we have three giant games in a row. Vegas seeding and our hopes for more all rest on those three games.

Tie breakers are head to head first, then record vs common opponent (starting at the top of the standings), and then to NET rankings.
We'll have a tie breaker over GCU, but probably not Sam if we end up tied due to them beating NMSU (assuming we beat them and then we lose to NMSU). But we'll see how it plays out.

Well ACU had Sam beat but let Flagg hit a 3 pointer with 2 seconds left to send it to OT. Then turned the ball over at the end of the game to lose.

So the 3rd or 4th spot gets us a double bi in the tournament so should we be happy with one of these spots? Utah Valley and Grand Canyon have some tough games ahead and they are both behind us. If we can finish 4-1 down the stretch I think we would be good? Prison Tech is certainly one of our wins!

4th looks like the most likely scenario, but a lot of work to do. For everyone.
If you told us we'd be 4th before conference play started, I don't think we'd be extremely happy. But if that's where we end up after the 4-4 start, I think we'll take it.
IMHO losing Roti cost us a conference game (at least) and possibly a non-conference game. Before the season started , if you had told me we lose a key player and are still in play for a 3rd/4th place finish I think we all would be ok with it.
