Because Will Wade was such a joy to work with to begin with. The Board of Regents must have a short memory because I still remember the response telling them where they could stick their letter summoning him to answer questions about breaking federal regulations. Now those federal regulations may have changed since, but that doesn't mean he willfully disregarded those rules while they were in effect and would not report to those in charge of him.

LSU BOR and president would have to be pretty weak-willed to have him back.

Guess now she can bring her entire team to Georgia like she did at McNeese. The only year she went to the tournament was when SFA was in the WAC. Took a long time to have a winner at Southeastern so I'm guessing Georgia will not give her that luxury. Coach Bishop has to have schools knocking at his door! Sadly...

It doesn't make me sick that the athletes deserve to have their names used for NIL. But I think there definitely needs to be more regulations behind it. It's harder for smaller universities to even compete with larger ones nowadays without going bankrupt.

College sports is just a fraud at this point. Hope the $$$House of Cards collapses.

NIL should never have been about 18-20 yr olds making 6 or 7 figures. Plus the absurd transfer portal.
Has completely killed my interest. SFA is the only college sports I will even watch now. But even that is not the same anymore.

And No I don't and won't give any money to SFA NIL groups either. Can't support what I absolutely don't believe in (NIL). Now no different than NBA or NFL which I don't follow anymore and haven't for awhile.
Mercenary Agents, Mercenary kids and their parents and the mercenary crooks that will try and steal that money from those that have no idea how to handle it.

Not for a minute. If I were a player and could get some bucks to get a kick start on adulthood, I'd jump on it. Not at all on the players.
