Ha. Sounds like the kids saved you a lot of pain and suffering.PurpleOut said:
I left at 7-2. Mainly cause the kids were with me and I'm an hour from Arlington. But goodness.

Tyler needs to have more than a light curve and an above average fast ball.

"Closer" Tyler Starks gives up three runs on four hits in the ninth to send the game into extra innings. Fortunately, two runs in the top of the tenth are enough for an 11-9 win over UTA. Starks now has an era of 15.0. If I was coach, I would get a new closer.
Not exactly sterling numbers for our two weekend starters.KirkHeath12 said:

SFA: RHP Trayson Kubo (0-0, 5.14)

POR: RHP Chris Clements (2-0, 2.84)
SFA: RHP Joseph Sgambelluri (0-2, 14.21)
I think Kubo will be okay. He had one really bad relief appearance before a decent start. Sgambelluri on the other hand, has had two terrible starts.SFA Jack Fanatic said:Not exactly sterling numbers for our two weekend starters.KirkHeath12 said:

Spotted them three in the first, then got some really solid pitching. 6-5 final. Win goes to Jacob Stobart with 3 1/3 innings of one hit relief. Eight strike outs with only one walk. SFA strikes out 15 while only walking three. Good things happen when you throw strikes.KirkHeath12 said:
6 run seventh helps the jacks win by a run. I honestly didn't think they would pull that out.
Given property constraints, and the unfortunate debacle around the Pilgrims offer, I don't feel good about the on campus desire. Perhaps I am wrong. But, your offer of about $10 million would provide for a very nice baseball/softball complex somewhere in Nacogdoches.BigJack85 said:
Every year. We seem to be a pitcher (or two) short and need some timely hitting. I hope to win the Lottery and get them an on-campus field. LOL.

Mississippi State just spent $68 million rebuilding their stadium. Surely, we can find a BMD with $10 million.
