Palmer's big-breaking north-south curve sitting at 76. He's keeping them fooled.

I sure wish Rodriguez and his conference 0.93 ERA was available. The rest of the bullpen has been hit and miss .... so to speak.

Kubo going today for SFA, against Noah Cameron, and his 2.53 ERA. LP Cameron has a crazy good strike out to walk ratio of 4.83. Kubo has a 1.76 ratio. By way of comparison, Palmer has a very good ratio of 3.52.
Which Kubo do we get today against a not very good hitting UCA team? Do we get the Kubo that goes six or seven innings with four hits and one run? Or do we get the Kubo that doesn't make it through the third inning? If we have to go to the bullpen early, we have a problem. Do the Jacks with their D1 worst BA of .222 get ten hits again as they did yesterday?
This shapes up to be a close, 4-3, SFA win, or a not close, 8-1, loss.

NSU headed home after a 6-4 loss to SLU. Long game pushed the start of the Sam and UIW elimination game back to 12:50.
Decided to go to the game. Got here just in time to see UIW eliminate Sam 3-2 with a run in the bottom of the ninth.

UCA using their closer as a starter today. Sounds like UCA is not too worried about this game. Saving their other starters for later.
