The coach said this was going to be a great nonconference schedule. I thought it was a lot of bravado, but this team may pull off a nice season if the opening weekend is an indication.

Do we get a second shot at Miss St for the championship tomorrow?

Middle Tenn State won 39 games last season and went to a regional. They lost only 6 seniors off that team.

Wilbur's brother Conner is a multi-event track and field athlete at SFA. Probably helped some in recruiting.

Wilbur strikes out the side to win the Bulldog Kickoff Championship against #24 Miss State. 8 SO's 0ER to get Wilbur a 4-0 record with a 0.00 ERA, 31 strikeouts and 3 complete game shutouts for her first weekend of play.
