Are you going to be able to purchase single game tickets? The only thing that I see now is the tournament pass which I can't do.

Yes.

It's so nice to be nationally relevant again.

Do you think this means that every coach voted for McNeese since they show 18 first place votes for them and none for the others? Of course new facilities and an inside track to the NCAA tournament with home field advantage is pretty attractive.

I bet on name recognition. I bet most coaches don't even realize SFA is back in the SLC or even at the quality of play they are at.

If I understand the polling correctly, they polled only Southland coaches, so they know SFA quite well.

So McNeese's coach voted for himself.

18 voters in a 12 team conference, so some assistants must have voted, too. Seems like a very unscientific form of voting.

Location. You have an airport of quality near as well as rivals that have long records of playing each other. SFA gets short changed by almost every P4 college in the state. UH played us in football last year because Fritz came up through the backwoods of NCAA coaching. Underwood won't even throw us a bone.

Ah, I thought it was random coaches. Not just SLC.

I believe our game against UH was scheduled before Fritz was there.

Underwood, like a lot of high majors, won't schedule us because there just isn't much value to. There are a ton of mid majors out there. I'm sure Underwood knows a game against them would be valuable for SFA but for him and his team not as much.

Yes they schedule Mid Majors but I'm sure if he can avoid it, he won't be playing the Lumberjacks outside of the Tournament.

I have not been a Brad fan since he hopped off the plane after the Notre Dame loss and produced crocodile tears at his news conference after accepting the job at OK St. during the flight back from the NCAA tournament. Dude couldn't take a couple days for us all to unpack this monumental season. We all knew he was leaving and deserved a job at a higher level school but he left a very bad taste in my mouth. I always enjoy Illinois losses now like tonight against unranked Wisconsin. Bager up!!
