This has all the makings of a trap game. So does every matchup SFA has until the NWST game tbh. We aren't just gonna be favored to win out. We're gonna be favored to dominate every game from here on out.

But I agree. Carthel will have the team ready to go. Just need to handle business and go 1-0 this week.

The 1-0 mantra SFA has is the top team mantra. Screw going 9-0. Screw going 10-0 next week. This SFA team isn't going 12-0. It's going 1-0 every single week.

HCU in with a solid game plan, their defense has held the running game in check (mostly) so far and their offense is going to town on the slant passes that worked so well for UIW.

This is my first time watching the streaming broadcast in a couple of weeks. Our broadcast team is still terrible. Whoever in the booth decides which cameras to use on plays (the director, I assume) is really bad. Hope someone involved reads this.

This has been true ever since ESPN took over instead of SFA All Access.

It's embarrassing compared to how good so many of the other school's broadcasts are.

If you watched any HCU football this year, you'd know they have a great O-line and D-line. Running it up the middle is not how you beat them.

Nice to hear Carthel pointing out our first half weakness of the day. "Not championship football and they better come out in the 2nd half playing better".

Of course those 10 2nd quarter points does give us a cushion to work with in 2nd half.

I think we're seeing a team that has looked forward to Lamar. I'm sure that locker room is not a fun place to be right now, but I'm sure Carthel is going to get them right and have them fired up coming out for the second half!
