Family centric coach. Always care for the players.
High praise for his former coach at Tech/UNT.
Christmas and Keon at PC. Committed coming back next year. No one else mentioned. (Potentially more?)

Three players from a very average D-II team? Uh, no.
I think 13 or 14. Biggest thing we have right now is 3 confirmed. The rest are all unknowns.
I'm fine with a special D2 product. Especially one we can develop. But I do hope we get some high majors or upper mid major transfers.

If Keon Thompson plays like he did toward the 2nd half of the season, we will be ok at the point. Ok. Not great. But better than the mix match we had at the beginning of the season.

Agreed about needing another PG. Due to having a "team that couldn't shoot", Keon was forced to score too much rather than just be a playmaker.
And we need a couple of bigs with bulk, not just height. Our guys were pushed around too much the last couple of years.
I want them to bring in one big that has a Kensmil frame and also to play just like him. He was a bully in the paint!

I agree if that's the style Coach wants to go for. If he wants more perimeter scorers go that route. We need people who can make FTs and actually play aggressive not be a teddy bear under the basket. *cough* Southwick *cough*.

Coach B has hired 2 coaches. Is Dallas still on the staff? Any idea of how many coaches are on the staff now and will there be anymore hires?

1. Practice free throws
2. Don't sign a kid and run him off in 3 weeks
3. Don't be the last team in the country to release next year's schedule.

Collins just went into the portal at LSU, he was recruited and offered by SFA in 2021.
He does have a shoulder problem though, it pops out from time to time.

I agree with this! I want to add one thing. Whatever they were doing in the summer practices, quit doing it. Seemed like always there were a ton of kids hurt going into the season.
. And be more transparent if a player leaves so I won't be wondering where he is when I go to a game and can't find him and wonder what happened. lolTallTexan said:

That is something I wish SFA would put out in all sports. An updated active/inactive list as well as an injury report. It would at least let the average fan know if we struggle and have a lot of injuries, that was probably the problem.
I say do summer practices but don't go as hard. Build that team chemistry. Do dinners, small hoop games, and small things not going full out.Jacks1989 said:
