Really getting brutalized 35-9 at half. At least the 7 points was better than 2. Just really stuffing our offense. We look really out of sync without Riley. Chanell is not playing good. It's like she's overly excited making terrible passes, but no one has got a shot tonight. Finally Imani started driving the lane, but if there's not one of our awesome third quarters, this game is going to be ugly.
I think radio said we are 4 for 29 shooting 1st half.
This is one of those "Mama told me there'll be days like this" games. Getting totally outclassed.
I love my Ladyjacks but this is one of the worst games I have ever seen...53-19 end of 3rd. If New Mexico was a really good team it would be over 80 by now. We have shown zero basketball skills in this one.

Well that was ugly. Three games in five days, and playing against a very good New Mexico team at altitude. This started in the second half yesterday and carried over.
Throw this one in the trash, get Harvey well, rest up, and get better.

Gave up on ESPN3....even tried my phone. ESPN sucks.

Random thoughts.
Alyssa Mayfield is really coming on coming back from knee surgery last year. She got the start and made the most of it. Really active on both ends of the floor.
Heaven Hamling also got a start. Love her on offense. Defense, not so much. Her improvement on defense will determine her minutes.
Bri Mitchell is a real dynamo. Very active defense. Generally takes care of the ball. Modest scoring threat. Good things happened when she subbed for Hamling.
Bri Burns hasn't shown me anything.
Stephanie Visscher continues to be a real contributor on both ends. Led the team in scoring today with 16. She can do that nearly every game, but usually looks to pass first. She was leading a fast break and passed rather than taking it to the rim. Kellogg got all over her. Not long after that, there was a very similar fast break and she never slowed down, laying the ball in the hoop.
Imani Johnson does some really good things, then she does some really bad things. She is much better than last year. The younger sisters have a long ways to go to be consistent inside presences. I expected more.
Marissa Banfield is a difference maker. Solid on ball defense. Nice job of running the offense. Outside shot is getting more consistent. She has the PG attributes the Lumberjacks are in serious need of.
We need Hayes for her scoring and senior leadership. We desperately need Harvey for her inside presence.
