I dream of a time when our football, both basketball, & soccer teams all make the postseason in the same school year.

Combo guard Heaven Hamling did not win, but top five in the state is pretty darn good. Looking forward to seeing this young Ladyjack next season.

25 ppg and over 100 3's. Not bad. I think that our only weakness will be in the paint. If the Ladyjacks can do even a decent job there it will be another excellent season ahead.

Agree completely. Harvey has the athletic ability to play a significant role on the defensive end if she will stay out of foul trouble. I don't know if she will ever be a significant scorer. She has shown flashes, but has been inconsistent. Fisker has the size, but she does not play strong enough to be much of a contributor inside. Perhaps that changes for her senior year.

Then there are the Johnson sisters. Senior to be Imani is not good around the rim. She is most comfortable in the high post but turns it over too much to really run the offense through her there. Aaliyah has great in the paint potential. Looking for a good off season and the freshman to sophomore bump that many get. Incoming freshman Aiyana sounds like some of both of her sisters. She had succes at the rim at the Missouri 5A level, but can also step out and pop. Here is a story about Aiyana's team's state quarterfinal loss:

Yep, the Johnson sisters are going to turn into lane specialists. The tag team of Imani and Aaliyah this year was already a significant step up for the team (see Central Arkansas games). Harvey is going to have to be more assertive inside. She did this down the stretch; now as an upperclassman, she needs to take it to the next level. I think she will without Stevie to draw the fire. I'm looking for good things this next season.

This next year is going to be doubly exciting -- Jacks and Ladyjacks are both going to have outstanding seasons, and the Ladyjacks, in particular, are set up to be very good for the next 3-4 seasons! I can't wait to buy my season tickets!

They alternated back then.
