Honestly 4460, you are on the inside and the kool-aid they are giving you must be really good! I poured it out a a couple of seasons ago! Give me something to be proud of, and ALL my comments will be positive! If we keep floating along in the same boat year after year, my support will probably disintegrate to nothing and I will no longer care or pay attention!! I am headed that way...

Careful on who you compare your support of and contributions to SFA. You obviously don't know much about him, but 76 is probably the biggest supporter and alumni of SFA in many, many ways. He and his wife support the university with actions and not just words.

And BTW, 4460 doesn't comment here on the forums much, but, as you say, he is an "insider" and therefore has knowledge about SFA athletic programs that he occasionally shares - especially football - that the rest of us very much appreciate.

Stop criticizing other forum users. No need for that.

I don't reply often, but there is too much arguing and doom-and gloom going on this post. In the words of the great philosopher Taylor Swift, you need to calm down. Here this team sits at 6-4 with two games left in the season, and some of you have already given up on them. I hope the young men on this team don't have that attitude, as I am pretty sure they don't. Yes, ETAM was ugly. Some of the other games earlier were not that pretty, either. But yet, here they sit at a .600 record, which is progress compared to last year, and with a lot of new faces. I'm actually encouraged with what I have seen- there are certainly more bright spots so far than not-so-bright ones. So cheer up, and let's see how this plays out. Last time we were in the playoffs we did so with a 7-4 record. Maybe we end up 8-4 or 7-5, then we leave it up to the committee. Even if they don't make the playoffs, that still is great progress. Heck, even 6-6 would be progress.
