I can't imagine it's easy to recruit in St. George. For one you're competing with BYU and Utah as well as all the midwest FCS powers. I haven't looked, but I'm sure most of their roster is local.
Probably Utah 1 California 2 Nevada 3 and then all over.


Quick count of their roster, cause I'm bored watching our offense:

37 from CA, 33 from UT.

The rest scattered from Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Texas and Hawaii

Noticed tonight, he locks in to where he wants to go, if he can start scanning field and working his reads we could see the QB that the Vols thought they were signing

The rear replay showed he's got a good mental game too.

He starts looking left, then he looks back right to freeze the safety, then back left to throw the pass.

That 3rd and 10 was just conceding the half. Long way to first down and time running down. I understand that one much more than several of our earlier play calling.

It is worth noting we are nursing a few injuries on defense as well as Wimbley, so a lot of these guys are young without a ton of experience. I'm sure that locker room isn't a fun place to be right now though.

Defense not playing up to previous levels tonight.

We are very fortunate that a penalty erased the Pic 6. Lots for staff to work on at half.

Defense worked with a short field for much of the 1st Quarter. They aren't our issue. We've got to control the ball on offense, make good reads and smart plays.

Still can't stop the run when the offense starts in motion, seem to be ok when they attack the middle. The jet sweep Lane froze instead of shooting the gap, it's the little things

Turf monster ends the drive. That's a little screen I'm surprised we don't see more. When it works it's almost always a big play. It just gets a fast man the football in stride with blockers in front.
