Went to watch Jaylin tonight. Solid game, finished with 23/5/3 assists (what I recorded unofficially), 14 points in the second half. Could have easily had 30. Was a little lackadaisical in the first half to me, but dominated the 2nd. Had a really nice steal in the backcourt followed by a big slam, hope someone got video of it. Also 2 crucial FTs to seal the game. Very talented, could be a special player here.
They play #1 Duncanville next however. They'll need to play a lot better than they did tonight if they want to stay alive.

Good report, Purple. Thanks for taking the time to go see him in action. Once again, I like everything I'm hearing about Jaylin. We've got a special one on our hands! He will be an immediate contributor to what should be another very strong roster next year.

Correct me if I am wrong but Posey will be more in 2 spot like Bogues was rather than a PG correct?
Also, will be interesting to see Heckard teamed back up with Johnson next year.

So where do we stand on PG next year? David with Kharee? That may be great, but sounds thin.

Yeah Ware has shown much more growth at point lately. John's special. He really elevated his game over the last couple seasons. Hopefully his game will have a future impact on these players.
What about keeping John as a grad asst.? We tried that with Trey for a short time if my memory serves me right. John could really be an asset for the guys!

Right now my 5 is Heckard/Ware/Johnson/Solomon/Kensmil. That's a really good starting 5 with a deep bench yet again. We shall see.

Posey is the type player that can make a huge impact as a freshman. Huge get for the Jacks.

Sounded like a minor injury that was going to just keep him out for this game. But they lost by 1. Too bad.
