To recap day 1:

Asani Hylton in sixth place in the decathlon out of 24 with PB in both 100 and shot put. 110 hurdles is a strength, and the first event of Day 2.

Cord Neal finished 17th, and freshman Ivan Canchola was 22nd in the javelin.

Auhmad Robinson finished last of 23 competitors in the open 400. The freshman usually does much better anchoring relays than he does in the individual events.

4x400 relay with the sixth fastest time to advance to the final on Friday. There are no seniors on this team. Imagine the possibility if this team stays together for another year.

Branson Ellis, National Champion in the pole vault. First Lumberjack to win an outdoor men's T&F National Championship.

Thanks to Ellis getting 10 points, the team is tied for sixth place.
