I guess it depends what's budgeted. We've rarely filled our scholarship limits in the past. I doubt that's changing anytime soon.

It's fluid. I have confidence that the scholarship budget at SFA is not being increased in 2025-2026. For any sport.

Nice pickup! SFA offered him in 2023. Had offers from UTSA and Nicholls and a lot of schools were in touch. Should work good in the mix.

I agree solid recruit to get. Lots of potential. Atleast on 247 Sports he would be the 4th best recruit through 247 Sports depending on decimals.

Looks like only one more spot to fill unless we got the route of walk on. But I guess we will see!

Concerning the upcoming schedule, hopefully the new staff can get more Big Division 1 teams on the schedule. Wish the Jacks could play a team like Indiana, Georgetown or Kentucky. Also hope they keep Drake on the schedule. That's a good matchup for the Jacks. . One last thing, hopefully the schedule will come out early. The last few years has been ridiculous. Well it can't be bc anyone is scared to play us anymore. I have no idea why we were always near dead last on release but it was always frustrating.

McNeese, last season got #2 Alabama, North Texas, Illinois State, Liberty, and #25 Miss. State in their non-con and they should be the most feared SLC team right now.

This is probably the most exciting season of at least the last five years if just for the complete unknown of it all. I'm really looking forward to a new look, new system, new players. I don't think there's any way to predict success, but it should be fun.

I'm ready to get behind a new class of Lumberjacks. Also, I'm happy that Christmas gets a reboot for his last year. I hope it energizes him.
