Excited to see who he has on staff.
Would love to see if Haymon would come back.

On occasion, I know what I am talking about. It was appropriate to hire a search firm. McBroom did not know who was getting the job the day Keller was let go. That's not the way he works. After all the interviews, he got his top candidate. SFA athletics is in good hands.SFAJack_76 said:
If he is interested, is Brown a legitimate candidate? Based on his resume', of course he is. Is he the best candidate available? Without doing a search, we don't know. It would be really bad business when hiring for one of most visible and important jobs in SFA athletics, and arguably at SFA, if a national search wasn't done. I have great confidence that the search is not just for optics.
He won't be in Nac full time until Tech's season is over.Jacks1989 said:
So Coach Breaur want be in Nac until Texas Tech gets knocked out of March Madness. Is this correct?
Ben was not looking to leave, but UH came after him with an offer he couldn't refuse. "It was life changing for me, Hailey, and our future children." No doubt, this one hurt. SFA plays at UH on April 6. Our three assistants are maintaining the program until a new HC can get hired.nacluth said:
Oh no. I missed the news in February. After all those top recruits he signed, I thought Ben had another year here. Can't pass up Houston calling, but that's a tough fill.
Quick stop in Nac.#AxeEm pic.twitter.com/idcfI31114

I think just by looking at the flight logs. You can see where the plane had previously been.SFAJack_76 said:What do you mean by "this thing"?SFA Jack Fanatic said:SFAJack_76 said:

So do we root for Tech to lose quickly in the tourney so Coach B gets to Nac as quickly as possible?
McBroom did multiple face to face interviews over a two week period. All on the road. February 24 would have been about the middle of those interviews.SFA Jack Fanatic said:
What 890 said about flights. Discussions/Negotiations with Braeuer.
Well they are ranked #9 in the nation at 24-7 and the #2 seed in the BIG XII Tournament behind #1 seeded Houston, so I'd say they are already in the big dance at this point regardless of what happens in the BIG XII Tournament, and yes they could go far in the dance.SFA Jack Fanatic said:jboy93 said:

Tech is good enough to possibly get into the Big Dance.
I hope we clean house some. Main ones I would keep are Jenkins/Hayman/Christmas (Pick your poison), and the two obvious ones Pangonis and Emmanuel.Jacks1989 said:
How many players will Coach Braeuer keep? Will he clean house or bring back 4 or 5 players? Per the SFASU website this is non seniors.
Myles Jenkins - Jr
Scott - So
Thompson - Jr
Emmanuel - Fr
Pangonis - Fr
Christmas - jr
Sylla - Je
Stansburry - fr
Stone - Jr
Hayman and Clayton both have Junior College years. Could they both possibly come back? Wasn't there a ruling this year that Juco doesn't count?
My bet is he only keeps a very few.

I'd like Coach B. to get here and get started like everyone else, but part of me would like to see Texas Tech go all the way, and boost Coach B's prestige even more with a BIG XII Title and a National Championship.
Players will want to play for that coach even more.
I'll be watching Tech from here on out to get a good feel of what we might see in the Saw Mill.

I was on the fence about him Thompson he stayed average with his career according to ESPN. I feel like we could find a better guard. The market will probably be strong again.
