On occasion, I know what I am talking about. It was appropriate to hire a search firm. McBroom did not know who was getting the job the day Keller was let go. That's not the way he works. After all the interviews, he got his top candidate. SFA athletics is in good hands.

Oh no. I missed the news in February. After all those top recruits he signed, I thought Ben had another year here. Can't pass up Houston calling, but that's a tough fill.

That must be hard to concentrate on Texas Tech, after you get your first head coaching job, and you really want to get busy on building your new team.

How many players will Coach Braeuer keep? Will he clean house or bring back 4 or 5 players? Per the SFASU website this is non seniors.

Hayman and Clayton both have Junior College years. Could they both possibly come back? Wasn't there a ruling this year that Juco doesn't count?

He won't be in Nac full time until Tech's season is over.

Ben was not looking to leave, but UH came after him with an offer he couldn't refuse. "It was life changing for me, Hailey, and our future children." No doubt, this one hurt. SFA plays at UH on April 6. Our three assistants are maintaining the program until a new HC can get hired.

They said it wrong. It's pronounced like briar patch or Bryer's Ice Cream.
