Only name i like out of that is Issac Brown. Also saw this little quote on Wikipedia.

Seems like a good recruiter. But didn't pan out in the HC scheme of things.

Linder kind of just seems meh to me. Even more meh for Alvin Brooks III espically with the Sam connection.

Meh, Brown's record at WSU is only so so. Why was he fired after only 3 seasons. Why was he dismissed from Tx A&M back in the day as a player.

Look at an article from the Lubbock paper it seems there was some interesting deals between Tech and Wyoming regarding Wyoming coming to play at TT. "UW agreed to waive his liquidated damages after Linder vacated the money owed him" That led to TT having Wyoming come to TT for some game paydays. Article does say that Linder is very much into NIL money--apparently a big reason he wanted out of Laramie.

Brooks has been an assistant at schools that win games--Baylor, Kansas St, Kentucky. The couple of years at Sam doesn't mean much.

Not inspired by any of these choices.

Alvin Brooks III

Looks like he is really strong at recruiting. His father is the Lamar Head Coach.

Ha....he recruits for U of Kentucky, likely not a hard sell to make.

Of course I suppose if he came here he would want to out recruit his dad at Lamar.

Brooks is the kinda of coach that I'm wanting them to look at. 5 years as an assistant at K State. 5 years Associate Head Coach and lead recruiter at Baylor. Currently 2 years at Kentucky as Associate Head Coach. I really like his background.
