Great play but Kevon should know better than to get a T when we need him on the floor.....great play but not a smart finish.

There was a time when we had 3 fouls in the 2nd half and they had 7. I think they called the next 7 fouls on us, usually for blocked shots in the lane.
Anyone else worried about the insane minutes our star players are having to log?

21-9 in turnovers. That's what ultimately killed us starting the 2nd half
Turnovers obviously a killer....at one point ESPN graphic showed points off turnovers was 32-4 La Tech.
I was talking about the crowd energy. Maybe we would have woken up without it, but it took the whole place to another level. Wow what a game...we had some really bad calls and I'm not using that as an excuse. Tons of non-excusable turnovers too. But our guys were pumped up, which was also cool to see in a game. Defeated and tired in the end.
Fitz, to me, was Player of the game. Shannon did great but Fitz was unstoppable & I hope he turns that performance in every game during conference.

I agree Nacluth....from then on out, the crowd was in it & didn't stop. You had to be here ti get it...the energy & with the players so tired...I am sure the crowd fueled them on. But I want to ring their neck for that final possession.

Totally agree with you. Shannon looked gassed in OT. I worry about his minutes. He's playing max minutes every time out.
Not having Kevon in OT hurt from that perspective.

All in all encouraging given we had such a short bench, played unintelligently the first 9 minutes of the half, had such a huge discrepancy in fouls. Shannon scored 33 as the point guard, think about that. First time in D1 history SFA has had 2 players score over 30. But dang it, I wanted to beat Tech, we should have.

Disappointed to take a loss and with the amount of turnovers and fouls...
that said liked that we looked more like the team I hope for in the first half and in coming back from 12 down in the 2nd half. Showed some fight and better team play most of the game. A healthy Aaron would have been huge but now out with mono so could miss a few games.
Agree about comment on Karl...he could be another Gilmore but needs to go All in on team concept, hopefully he is getting there.
