Agreed. We need to try to get more locals and alumni from out of town to attend. I know Purple Haze is blowing it up, but we can't count on a full student section over the holidays.
There's still a good amount of tickets available, reserved seats.

Definitely more coming. Looks like they're going to offer free housing for students to come back, along with them being able to bring a free guest.

Open tailgating for us fans as well. It was asked if people can bring tents, alcohol and tailgate like a football game and they said yes.
If everyone is open to it I think we should consider having a little tailgate. Not sure if they're meaning on the street as well or in the parking lot, but I'm down to bring a tent and whatnot. Thoughts?

More details coming, but they have a map designated for tailgates on the street.
I've heard several people say they are 50/50 on coming, for various reasons. Obviously holiday commitments are important and understandable, but we need to do everything possible to get everyone to Nac that weekend. I'm not the oldest person here of course, but I've waited 16 years for a basketball event like this.

Agreed. This is a big event and can be a culture changer for our fan community. Tailgate goes well, I could see it happening for 2 to 4 big games every year.
Get there a little early, get everyone loud, look good on national TV. Win. Repeat.

Gives students who have family obligations a great reason to come back now, even for the day. They can bring the family for free.
Gonna see if I can get 2 more people to come, for free, as my daughters guest. I have persuaded 6 people to buy tickets. Not much, but it is something!
