Consider this my RSVP to the "Brian Maurer Power Hour."

I think he has a chance to be one of the most dynamic QB's we've had a long time.

And, he s a ****-talking DAWG. Need it, love it.

I've noticed we really haven't had a really loud QB in a long, long time. Every QB I remember SFA having has been very stoic, strictly personality wise speaking. Having a QB with that DAWG in him and will be fun.

Skill set wise, he reminds me a lot of Conque. Super strong arm and very good runner. Conque wasn't used correctly for his skill set, especially after that really good sophomore year. Hopefully Storm has drawn up a creative game plan for a dynamic QB like Maurer.

I wouldn't read into that. Last year we hardly saw any clips of Self throwing passes in the preseason. There certainly is a competition and despite us all thinking it Maurer and Weeks are battling it out for QB1. I just hope a decision is made before the first week of the season. A QB with a full week of prep work with the ones is always more prepared.
