Kudos to those of you that did make the trip to support the kids. As I have said before, the players and families don't deserve what this program has become. They need to stay strong. It will be difficult, but better days are coming.

sfajack05. I 100% agree! I was told this week that SFA spends more on Football than any other school in the Southland Conference and more than the majority of FCS schools, yet we have less than marginal results each year. Hopefully, Ivey will change things quickly because I am getting tired of this year after year.

Different situation. Kaspar had established a foundation in the basketball program that helped to attract Underwood. Underwood built on that which helped bring Keller in. There has been no such foundation in football. A couple of decent years is not a foundation.

Sam didn't have a foundation either but look what they've done in the last 8-9 years when Fritz took over the program.

You're telling me Hill couldn't have found someone like that to build the SFA football program? There was no foundation for the basketball program but Kaspar was able to come in and build it and set it up for what it is today.

A couple of decent years, win or else ultimatums at year 4 or 5, and then a revolving door is definately not a foundation! Special thanks to Robert Hill for digging this huge trench Ivey will have to climb out of! Expect at least 3 to 5 more years of painful losses at Reliant before he can get control over it!!

Penalties is what really kills me.. All the unsportsmanlike conduct calls on us is a direct reflection of this coaching staff having 0 control of players.. When you are getting your ass handed I don't understand why you must talk sh$/.. Players aren't very good either...

SFA attendance was worse/thinnest it has been since I started going ....the last time we won.

Can't do the "Lumber joke" thing. Bc we still excel in so many different areas/sports. Still proud to be a Lumberjack. Yes, embarrassed but hopefully this is enough to show powers that be that something has to be done AND THAT THEY ARE EMBARRASSED TOO.

Nov. 6th is a month away . Volleyball is kicking a**. LET'S GO!

PS...Kenny and Ziggy's DID help! Plus, Boston cream cake & cheesecake to go for snacking at hotel tonight. Highly recommend this method throughout rest of football season!

Honestly, I think tickets were bought to tailgate & then those students didn't go into stadium....they just just kept tailgating even tho it was supposed to end at 1. In the past, you didn't need a ticket to tailgate; now you do. But they weren't checking for tickets when we entered.

I know SFA student section supposedly sold out. Those kids were outside...we ran into some of my daughters friends. They tried to get her to stay with them & she was like No I'm here to watch the game! ! LOL

I'm proud of all you who made the trek.

Not a good season, but Ivey's got the perfect setup to find a good coach. Not many new AD's get handed an entire season to search out options for a new coach.

But as much as we need a new coach, we need a system. We can go spread, pro, triple option, wishbone, whatever, so long as we're willing to stick with it.

But I'm truly optimistic for next year with Ivey hiring. And cut Hill a break. He hired Keller and Underwood. He could have hired Winnie the Pooh as football coach and I'd still say he was a good AD. But Conque on paper should have been that foundation guy.
