Video Highlights: Relive SFA's thrilling win over #4 TCU

Boom! After a few near misses against big name opponents (including a heartbreaker at Baylor a week ago), Stephen F. Austin baseball finally broke through this past Tuesday. The surging Lumberjacks have already overtaken Sam Houston State for second place in the Southland Conference, but a signature win was missing in the SFA postseason resume.

Checkmate, TCU. SFA opened up a sizeable lead, and despite the reputation of the Horned Frogs as the comeback kings, there would be no catching the club led by former TCU player Johnny Cardenas this time.

The Lumberjacks will be home this weekend in Nacogdoches and certainly deserve a great crowd. It's been a little while since the oldest town in Texas has been blessed with a baseball team like this one in 2017.
