I think we all saw this GCU match-up coming. Two teams playing extremely good volleyball right now.

Ya. It will be a tough opponent. Frankly, one of the more appealing parts about the WAC. Competitive in a number of sports, unlike the SLC which was usually 2-3 teams deep in any particular sport. The WAC could qualify 2 teams for the NCAA. Not likely, but very few thought the WAC would qualify 2X WSOC teams.

UTRGV inexplicably loses a set to SUU, but dominates the other three, in spite of POY Sarah Cruz hitting -.054. The top four seeds all win somewhat comfortably.

UVU can taste the championship game now....I'd rather play them than UTRGV on their home court again. Plus, I think we are playing better volleyball now than when UVU beat us earlier in the season. Just my opinion.

UVU played really good, but UTRGV played poorly, and choked away the third set after leading by 11. No matter who won, I was hoping they would go at least four.

There is a championship to be won at 7:00 on Saturday.

Even though UTRGV seemed to crack, I agree. I think they would have been very hard to beat, in a championship game at home. The crowd would have been rockin' even more than last night.

Debbie is so good at finding weaknesses and exploiting them. The left-handed Cerny gave GCU lots of trouble and coach knew it would. It's amazing that she never left for a bigger program. She is every bit to Ladyjack volleyball what Sue Gunter was to Ladyjack basketball.

SFA takes the first set over UVU 25=12. Very dominate in the set. Cerny was a big hitter again.

UVU was the better squad in set 3 by 25-20. Ladyjacks seemed to have lost a bit of focus. Need to regroup as UVU feeling the momentum right now.
