2-1 loss at Sam is not good. Allows Sam to make the tournament, and gives us a two game losing streak going into our first match on Friday. We will play the winner of Utah Valley and Sam.

Long OT game this spring followed by the early tourney game really hit us hard.

This time we'll have 6 days rest and prep. Hope it pays off.

All of this, plus the team is much deeper this season. Other than Talbot, only two girls played 90 minutes yesterday. That plus the first round bye … no excuses.

Looking at how the commissioner's cup points are awarded, for soccer the regular season determines the points awarded, but it's unclear how they award based on division. We should either get 6 or 5 cup points.

UVU is the better team. We have some very good seniors, but our strength is in our younger players. We will sign some outstanding girls for the 2022 class. This is a team on the rise.

The two best teams in the WAC, GCU and UVU, play for the NCAA bid.

ICYMI, GCU 3-0 over UVU for the auto bid.

GCU has an RPI of 37. They have a legitimate chance of going a couple of rounds deep in the NCAA. They are good.
